In 2005, Soraya Membreño gained international recognition when she was awarded "Best Designer in Nicaragua" in a competition organized by Mercedes Benz and Vogue en Español. That same year, she also won the title of "Best Designer in Latin America" in a competition hosted by Vogue magazine in Miami. Her continuous success further led to another first-place victory in 2011, where she was named "Best Designer in Nicaragua" at the Glamour Awards. With her talent spanning beyond fashion, Soraya Membreño had the honor of designing and creating the wardrobe for the celebrated Italian opera singer Donata D'Annunzio Lombardi, a testament to her versatility and international appeal. In 2022, she expanded her reach to Mexico by participating in the Expo Intermoda Guadalajara, bringing her refined designs to a broader audience.
